The 1 oz Silver Athenian Owl Coin is minted in 99,9% fine silver. It's a release from Niue and the coin design is based on the ‘Tetradrachm’, an Ancient Greek coin with a face value of four drachmae. The Athenian Owl represents whisdom and truth, in the Greek mythology the Athenian Owl would guard Athena’s ‘blind side’ so that she would be able to see the whole truth.
Silver 1 oz Athenian Owl Coins are minted in 31.103 grams of fine silver. The silver coins are from various years and usually we can only offer a linited quantity, based on our inventories. The coin has been introduced in 2017 as a cheaper alternative for more common silver bullion coins including Maple Leafs and Silver Eagles.
